At its simplest, Herbalism means using plants for health, although herbal medicine traditions are embedded in complex understandings of the body and natural systems. Incorporating traditional and research-based uses of herbs, Tara uses teas, herbal extracts, salves, essential oils, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations, she endeavors to help her clients feel better in their bodies and also lends from her multifaceted experience in the nutrition and healing arts. Tara encourages clients to connect with nature through the vibrant smells, tastes and colors of herbs, and is excited to provide opportunities to learn about the plants growing around us, and the joy and vitality they can bring.
