She has worked with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum, conduct disorders, families, couples, and daily life stressors.
Steffanie endeavors to create a safe place within the therapy room where everyone feels safe to express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. She meets the clients where they are, understanding that no two people are the same. She believes that every person deserves to be treated as the unique individual they are, something that she has found to exhibit some of the best results in therapy. She is always excited to learn and continue her education, ensuring that each and every client receives appropriate care and understanding.
Steffanie graduated with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Robert Morris University. Prior to this, she completed her undergraduate degree, also at Robert Morris University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology with a minor in English. Her experience began with community outreach, working with adults with personality disorders. She then gained experience in an inpatient facility working with high-risk children, adolescents, and families before moving to outpatient practice.
Steffanie values learning opportunities and is actively engaged in continuing education. She is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and discovering other training and certification opportunities to widen her skillset.
Steffanie loves reading and considers quiet nights curled up on the couch with her cat, Queenie, to be her favorite form of self-care. Just add an iced coffee and she considers it paradise. Steffanie also enjoys trying new restaurants with her boyfriend and listening to podcasts. Steffanie was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and loves exploring the city.
