Chelsie Musisko
Hi, I’m Chelsie Musisko, LPC and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I specialize in supporting clients navigating the lasting effects of Trauma, cPTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Life Transitions, and more. As a CCTP, I’ve completed advanced training in trauma informed therapy, with a focus on helping you feel safe, grounded, and empowered in your healing process.
In addition to individual therapy, I offer Couples Therapy using Emotionally Focused Therapy, as well as Coparenting Counseling to support families navigating separation, divorce, or transitions in family structure.
With a deep respect for your unique journey, I take a holistic approach to healing, honoring the powerful connection between mind and body. This includes the use of nutrition, movement, mindfulness, somatic therapy, EFT tapping, energy psychology, and creative expression to support emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. I pay close attention to the impact of difficult lived experiences on the whole person not just psychologically, but somatically and spiritually as well.
My goal is to help you explore these complex areas with compassion and practical tools for meaningful change. If you find yourself turning to external sources—such as compulsive behaviors or medicating patterns—to ease internal emotional pain, you’re not alone.
I offer a client-guided approach rooted in ASERVIC principles, which ensures that counselors are equipped to work ethically and effectively with clients from diverse religious and spiritual perspectives.
Behavioral addictions call for both behavioral change and deeper emotional and spiritual healing. Together, we can develop strategies for freedom from the chains that bind you and move toward a more connected, authentic version of yourself.
Education and Experience
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from PennWest (formerly California University of Pennsylvania), along with a post-graduate certificate in Spiritual and Religious Counseling. I’m also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
In addition to my clinical work, I’ve contributed as a published author, writing two chapters on career counseling—one focused on reducing recidivism, and the other on Social Cognitive Career Theory.
Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy creating abstract art through drawing, painting, modeling, photography, and installation. In my free time, I focus on self-care and staying present—whether that’s going for walks with my beloved rescue dog or reconnecting with nature.
