She also views counseling as an opportunity to be challenged beyond self-limiting thoughts and beliefs that tend to keep people stuck. Katee is very passionate about helping others make positive change based on their wants and needs.
Katee helps guide and empower individuals to challenge unproductive patterns, find their strengths, and practice helpful and effective coping skills. She does this by working to gain an understanding of each person in order to better assist them. She enjoys collaborating with clients to help them pinpoint areas that need improvement. Katee also believes that counseling is more than finding out what is not going well for a person or their situation, but also it is about recognizing what is going right. She encourages clients to continue to utilize and take advantage of what is currently helping them.
Katee helps individuals become aware of and examine their own values, beliefs, emotions, thought patterns, and behavior patterns.
