

Lindey Kuvshinikov, MSW, LCSW works alongside individuals to live healthy, full lives. Lindey specializes in grief counseling with people who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, supporting them to find peace and healing. She also specializes in adoption and foster care related struggles. Lindey helps anyone part of the adoption or foster care kinship network to develop a truer sense of self, work through grief, and form healthy emotional bonds when struggling with attachment issues. She creates a safe environment where people are heard and understood. She provides hope that healing, growth, and change are possible for anyone. Lindey offers individual, couple, and family therapy. She addresses areas of anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, and loss.
Lindey’s therapeutic approach includes psychoeducation and utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy techniques to help individuals increase self-confidence, positive coping, and resilience skills. In family therapy, she uses the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy model. She helps parents to develop more emotional support and consistent structure for the health of their families. She supports individuals and families to strengthen their emotional connection, improve communication, and utilize problem-solving skills.
Lindey received her Master’s of Social Work at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Lindey has worked in the residential treatment facility, domestic violence shelter, mobile and outpatient therapy settings. She is experienced in crisis intervention, facilitating therapeutic groups for children and adolescents, and providing highly intensive individual, couple, and family therapy to increase confidence and self-esteem, develop positive coping and resilience skills, and establish healthy relationships and support systems.
Lindey values quality time with friends and family. She enjoys traveling and is always up for a road trip. She loves exploring new places and trying new coffee shops and restaurants. She enjoys music and dance. She values being active and spending time outside.
