ARE YOU FEELING OVERWHELMED, OUT-OF-SORTS, NOT QUITE YOURSELF? Are you and your partner arguing more and spending less time together? Are the things you usually do to help yourself get back to wellness simply not working anymore? If you answered “YES” to any of these questions, then psychotherapy might be the best next step to take to help you feel better and empower yourself! Fawn Clark, MS, LPC, NCC is a licensed and certified counselor providing individual, marriage, and family counseling in our Monroeville Counseling Center, she is eager to WELCOME you and encourage you as you take the difficult first steps to feeling better. If you’re looking for someone who will listen without judgment and who will join with you in the effort of helping you then Fawn would like to meet you. Fawn doesn’t believe in therapy as a “cookie cutter” approach or something that the therapist “does to clients”. With a long track record in helping clients heal, she understands that counseling is a mutual relationship, where the client and therapist work collaboratively in the creation of comfort, trust, growth and measurable change using systematic strategies. Together, you and Fawn will focus on understanding your struggles and then learn how to manage them with either faith based or empirically validated approaches that will allow you to take back your life in the direction that you want.
Fawn is an experienced licensed counselor who is bringing almost 20 years of experience to Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh. She has many years of successfully providing help to adults, older adolescents (14+), and couples who are struggling with a wide range of issues. Fawn is able to help you find relief from substance abuse, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, stress and anger management, self injury, couples and marriage counseling, Faith uses evidence based as well as faith-based Christian counseling if you,
as her client prefers. Fawn knows that therapy is an individual experience, she uses a variety of therapeutic approaches- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), to name a few-to aid in our journey toward change.
