Education and Experience
Sarah earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Bowling Green State University in 2015. She continued on to acquire her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certification in Addictions from California University of Pennsylvania in 2019. She went on to become a licensed profession counselor in 2022.
Sarah began her career in the counseling field as a school based/outpatient drug and alcohol counselor working not only with adolescents and young adults struggling with substance use and mental health concerns, but also individuals who’d experienced loss due to addiction. Prior to obtaining her Master’s degree, Sarah worked as a Truancy Prevention Advocate within various school districts and a Residential Support Specialist.
Hobbies and Interest
In her leisure time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her growing family, traveling, whether that be a small road trip or an international adventure, listening to music and having personal concerts in her car, doing yoga with friends and reading.
