Lindsey Nelis, MS, NCC, LPC, specializes in eating disorder therapy, alongside expertise in mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ issues, with a particular focus on working with adolescents, teens, and young adults. Lindsey graduated from Point Park University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2013 and earned her Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Carlow University in 2015. She went on to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2018 after completing her required internship hours as well as her clinical and supervision hours.
With over 10 years of experience, she has worked across various levels of mental health care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. Lindsey’s diverse experience has equipped her with the skills and insights necessary to effectively support clients with a multitude of diagnoses.
Hobbies and Interests
Lindsey has a deep affection for animals and cherishes spending leisure time with their partner, along with their three cats named Maggie, Tate, and Silas, as well as their dog, Rosie. She also finds joy in spending quality time with loved ones, exploring new destinations, indulging in literature, and cultivating personal interests such as crochet, herbalism, and delving into mythological history.
