Person-Centered Therapy
Kailey Revi, MS, LPC, NCC is a therapist who believes counseling is an opportunity that affords individuals the space to express their thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental environment. Kailey uses a person-centered therapy approach to meet individuals where they are in their journey of growth and healing. She understands that every person is unique and values the individuality of each person’s concerns and circumstances. She incorporates evidenced-based therapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Strategies and Mindfulness into her person-centered therapy style to meet unique needs of those that she works with. Kailey believes in the power of the therapeutic alliance to help individuals foster awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Kailey believes that every individual has the capacity for positive change, self-acceptance, life balance and healthy, meaningful relationships.
Education & Experience
Kailey obtained her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania. Kailey is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor. She continues to further her education with classes and training and is eager to diversify her skills to be as effective as possible in serving clients. Kailey understands the importance of self-care and promotes this in her own life as much as she does with clients. She is an avid runner and enjoys hiking and camping with her boyfriend and their dog, Rocket. She loves to read, cook, and bake and to spend time with her family and close friends.
Kailey has experience working in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient, in-home and outpatient therapy. Kailey has conducted group therapy and has worked with families and couples. Kailey is experienced in working with individuals to address Substance Use Disorders (Addiction and Recovery), Anxiety, Stress-Management, Communication, Boundary Setting, Coping Skills Development, Self-Esteem and Body Image Issues and With Loved ones of Individuals with Substance Use Disorders. Through the collaborative therapy process, Kailey will work with you to create a deeper understanding of the issues you face and will assist you in developing strategies to prevent unhealthy patterns of thinking and behavior from recurring and foster new ways to manage life’s challenges.
