Bianca Niccolai
My name is Bianca Niccolai, and I’m a master’s-level therapist providing comprehensive mental health services. I have experience working with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, panic disorder, and family conflict. I recognize the strength it takes to invest in your mental well-being, and I’m committed to creating a safe, trusting environment where you can share your story and feel truly accepted. Vulnerability isn’t easy, but my goal is to help you feel empowered as we work together on your journey toward whole-body wellness.
I meet my clients where they are in life, believing that a safe space is key to collaborating on their personal goals. I use evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gestalt therapy, and Person-Centered approaches. I also value holistic wellness, and I plan to incorporate practices like yoga, breathwork, and somatic experiences into my future work. Through thoughtful guidance and support, my aim is to equip you with tools to manage your symptoms and help you advocate for your health.
Education and Experience
In 2017, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After completing my degree, I spent seven years working with a local social service agency, collaborating with children and families to overcome barriers and build brighter futures. In 2021, I pursued a master’s degree in professional counseling from Carlow University. During my clinical field experience, I provided trauma-informed care and de-escalation support for at-risk female adolescents, many of whom were victims or at risk of trafficking, involved in the criminal justice system, or navigating substance abuse challenges. I led individual sessions and facilitated groups, including a fitness and mindfulness program I developed to help these young women find strength, build connections, and feel empowered. Currently, I am working toward becoming a licensed professional counselor.
Hobbies and Interestes
I believe the mind, body, and soul are deeply connected, and achieving wellness requires nurturing each of these aspects. Balance and self-care are vital in managing our busy lives. For me, I find balance by fueling my body with nourishing, delicious food and staying active through yoga, barre, and kettlebell workouts. I feed my soul by maintaining close connections with friends and family, enjoying audiobooks, and spending quality time with my dog. I also prioritize my mental health by working with a therapist to address my own challenges, ensuring I can be fully present for my clients.
