Ashley Esch
Ashley Esch is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working in the mental health field since 2015. Ashley has worked in a variety of mental health environments including in-home, outpatient, correction facilities, inpatient mental health and all levels of care pertaining to drug and alcohol treatment. Ashley has spent a majority of her career working with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance abuse) and dual diagnosis. However, she is well-rounded and also has experience working with anxiety disorders, the autism spectrum, depression, mood disorders, ADD/ADHD, conduct disorder, relationship changes and grief.
Ashley understands how quickly life-changes can take place and the struggles that one may face to manage those changes on their own, as well as the difficulty of moving forward from past events that continue to impact present day-to-day activities. Ashley believes in the power of talk therapy as a means to reflect one’s own thoughts and feelings back to them in a safe and supportive environment. She aims to provide a secure, comfortable setting for individuals to process expected and unexpected change, while getting to know one’s own self better and experience growth. Ashley allows therapy sessions to flow like an average conversation in order to help ensure clients feel at ease and heard during their sessions.
Ashley’s primary treatment methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. Ashley believes in encompassing the mind, body and spirit as one to provide a holistic approach to counseling and bettering oneself overall through the use of meditation, breathwork and other somatic and metaphysical-related methods. She works to help individuals identify unhealthy habits and relationship patterns, build positive coping skills and set boundaries that promote personal growth.

Ashley’s career in counseling began when she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at California University of Pennsylvania and went on to work with children and adolescents in-home and in-school as a therapeutic support staff (TSS). She obtained her professional counseling license in 2019 while working in an outpatient treatment setting before transitioning to drug and alcohol inpatient treatment and private practice.
