Ashley White, Senior Administrative Assistant
What’s your role at the Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh, and what led you to join the team?
I’m the Senior Administrative Assistant at the Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh—I work out of the therapy practice Monroeville location. I was inspired to join the team because I love being part of a woman-owned business that’s dedicated to mental health. The mission here resonates with my values, and I knew it was where I wanted to be.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of supporting the administrative side of mental health services?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is being the first point of contact on someone’s mental health journey. There’s something incredibly meaningful about connecting a new client with the right clinician—knowing that I’m helping them take that first step toward healing and growth is truly fulfilling.
What is your favorite thing about working at the Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh?
My favorite part of working here is getting to know some of the most talented and compassionate mental health clinicians in the city. Building those personal connections has been such a rewarding experience.
Describe your ideal mental health self-care routine after a busy workday.
After a busy day, my ideal self-care routine involves cozying up with my adorable kittens, Oliver and Otis, followed by a fun evening with friends at a trendy restaurant. And honestly, nothing beats winding down and being in bed by 8:30 pm! 😊
