Jacqueline Partee
Hi, I’m Jacqueline Partee, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I believe in co-creating a safe, nurturing space where we can explore your needs together. Whether you’re: a parent seeking child psychiatry for your child’s behavioral concerns, a teenager managing intense emotions, a young adult seeking direction, someone exploring their gender identity or sexuality, an individual embracing neurodivergence, a person seeking postpartum depression medication & help, someone coping with new parenting roles, or a woman experiencing perimenopause – you are welcome here. Your experiences matter, and I’m here with you as a fellow human, ready to listen and understand.
Living with psychological symptoms can feel like carrying an invisible weight that others don’t see or understand. The racing thoughts that keep you up at night, the overwhelming emotions that seem to come out of nowhere, the exhaustion of trying to meet everyone’s needs while struggling to meet your own – these experiences are real and valid even if you’re used to others dismissing your pain. For parents, watching your child struggle can bring its own deep worry and helplessness. For those navigating hormonal shifts and life transitions, the emotional and physical changes can feel destabilizing and isolating. Remember that seeking support isn’t a sign of weakness – it’s a conscious choice to invest in your wellbeing and make sense of your experiences.
While medication can be valuable and in some cases, life-saving, I also believe in discovering how biological, psychological, social, cultural, systemic, and spiritual factors weave together in shaping our mental health. By blending root-cause exploration and therapeutic approaches with metabolic, lifestyle, and nutritional strategies, we can co-create a path that honors your unique story. I deeply value collaborating with your existing therapy team and other wellness providers to ensure comprehensive, connected care that supports your goals. Together with this network of support, we’ll create a plan that feels both grounded in research and personally meaningful for you.
Education and Experience
Graduating with high honors, I earned my Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Robert Morris University. My graduate research focused on the importance of human connection between staff and high acuity psychiatric inpatients. As a licensed Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my clinical expertise is continually enriched by my commitment to staying current with the latest research in integrative psychiatric care.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of my practice, I share life with my two neurodivergent children, often find myself lost in multiple fantasy novels at once, write poetry, and tend to my plants. The forest, pilates, and continual discovery of my own mind keep me grounded as I dream of creating a sustainable ecovillage where we can return to our human roots, thrive in community, and remember our deep connection to nature.
