Dr. Hillary A. Mangis
Dr. Hillary A. Mangis is a Pennsylvania Certified School Psychologist with 17 years of experience in the mental health field. She specializes in psychological assessment services, including Autism testing and Eating Disorder testing, though she does not perform ADOS testing. Dr. Mangis has worked with both children and adults in various settings, such as schools, hospitals, and independent evaluation centers. Her expertise in neuropsychological assessment allows her to provide specialized care for patients aged 10 and up.

Dr. Hillary A. Mangis earned her doctorate in School Psychology from Duquesne University in 2009. During her doctoral studies, she completed a practicum with a neuropsychology focus at Allegheny General Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Michael Franzen, where she gained specialized training in neuropsychological assessment.
She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit in Homestead, PA, developing a comprehensive understanding of school psychology. After graduating, Dr. Mangis continued at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, where she served as a school psychologist for both Pre-School Early Intervention and School-Aged programs, supporting children with developmental delays and learning challenges.
Dr. Mangis also worked as a district school psychologist in the West Allegheny and Carlynton School Districts, where she provided psychological assessments, counseling, and collaborated with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students. Her commitment to education led her to earn certification in Pupil Personnel Services, enabling her to serve as Carlynton’s Coordinator of Special Education and Student Services. In this role, Dr. Mangis oversaw special education programs and services, advocating for policies and practices that ensured students with disabilities received the support needed to succeed academically and socially.

Dr. Mangis loves spending quality time with her family and friends. She enjoys staying active through fitness and sports, finding balance and energy in her daily routines. When she’s not being active, you can find her with a good book or planning her next travel adventure. A true Pittsburgher, she’s also passionate about cheering on her favorite hometown sports teams.
