What’s your role at the Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh, and what led you to join the team?
I’m part of the administrative team at the Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh, where I help support the day-to-day operations that allow our clinicians to focus on what
they do best: helping people heal and grow. I was drawn to this work because I genuinely enjoy being part of an environment that prioritizes mental health, compassion, and personal growth.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of supporting the administrative side of mental health services
It’s incredibly rewarding to support clients behind the scenes and to witness people finding clarity, balance, and their true path to happiness. Being part of a team that
values wellness and meaningful change make this role especially fulfilling for me.
What is your favorite thing about working at the Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh?
My favorite thing about working at the Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh is getting to be part of a place where people truly feel supported. I love seeing clients grow, find joy, and leave feeling lighter than when they came in. Being surrounded by a team that genuinely cares and helps people move toward happier, healthier lives makes my days so rewarding.
Describe your ideal mental health self-care routine after a busy workday.
My daily self-care routine usually involves cozying up with some true crime (because nothing says “relaxation” like a good murder mystery), and spending quality time with
my partner. Whether we’re laughing, chatting, or just unwinding together, those moments help me recharge and end the day feeling happy and grounded.
