In her experience she has discovered that the feelings of being seen and heard in this way can be connected to the ways that everyone needs to feel a sense of belonging, which is something Gina see as fundamental as food, clothing, and shelter. She believes that being authentic in relationships with not only clients but any personal and professional relationship is the fundamental basis of building trust.

She would utilize Structural Theory interventions to promote change and encourage role definition to assist healthy family dynamics. She most recently worked with transition age individuals and those struggling drug and alcohol issues in both individual and group therapy settings.
