Becca Cardillo, MS, LPC, LBS, NBCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Behavioral Specialist and a National Board Certified Counselor who strives to bring an effective blend of clarity, concern, experience, expertise and action to the counseling process in order to maximize outcomes and provide genuine healing and wholeness to individuals, marriages and families. She enjoys using different methods in therapy such a cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy; she also used mindfulness and relaxation techniques to therapy session as well. For the last 6 years, Becca has been helping adults, families, children, and couples heal from a variety of psychological and relationship issues. Some of the diagnosis and situations that Becca specializes in are stress, relationships, grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, co-parenting and managing life changes. Becca strives to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which individuals can be supported in their efforts to change and grow as well as become reconnected to their strengths and dreams.

In the last 6 years, Becca has gained proven experience in the mental health counseling field; she began her journey working as a mobile therapist and behavioral specialist to children with a wide variety of diagnoses from ADHD to adjustment disorder. Becca than for 3 years worked as an outpatient therapist at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in the John Merck Outpatient Clinic working with adults with autism and intellectual disabilities. Becca for the past 2 years has worked as a school based therapist in Seneca Valley School District for Glade Run Lutheran services working with kids ages 5-18. Starting next school year she will begin working for kids in grades 9-12 specifically and begin running groups with the students.
Becca got her bachelor’s degree from Clarion University in rehabilitative sciences with a concentration Substance Abuse and a minor in Social Work and Psychology. Becca then moved onto to Gannon University in Erie, PA to get her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. After obtaining her master’s degree she moved to Pittsburgh, PA to begin working.
In her personal life, Becca is an avid Pilate’s enthusiast and attends as many classes a week as her schedule will allow her. She has season tickets to the Steelers and Penguins and is a huge Pittsburgh sports fan, although she possesses no athletic skills herself she loves going to and watching the games. Becca grew up in Greenville, PA and has one sister and one brother and is the middle child. She likes to spend time with her cat Willow and go on adventures with friends to different spots around the city. She loves to be outdoors and to travel and she hopes to someday get to go to Europe on a vacation.
